TextRange

TextRange is a DOM interface which allows you to select 'ranges of text' using JavaScript. It was (partly) implemented in Opera version 8.0 beta 2 in order to support Google Suggest.

Browser support

TextRange is supported by:

• Opera 8.0 (from beta 2)
• Gecko? (Firefox/Epiphany?/Mozilla?)
• Microsoft Internet Explorer? (which is, as usual, using some proprietary interface)
