Opera has got a Plug-in Application Programming Interface (API). You will finde some information and a link to the documentation here on the Opera website. The documentation itself is actually on the Netscape website.
Opera is currently implementing the Netscape4 plug-in API. The Netscape4 plug-in API is used in the Netscape4 Communicator/Navigator products. It is also partly supported by Mozilla and the Netscape6? browsers. Opera's implementation is based on a plug-in guide.
Supported plug-ins include Flash viewers, PDF viewers, and TIFF viewers. See the Opera web site for a complete list.
