Opera Search.ini Editor (OpSED) is an elegant and simple tool for easy customization of the search engines used by Opera. It is a Windows program written by Andrzej Olaczek, and it can be found at http://my.opera.com/opsed/blog/.

• Q: How can I easily add search engines using OpSED?
• A: Use the new URL Wizard to guide you through the task. In 4 steps, you will have a custom search engine added in no time. A few search engines use a more complex method that doesn't work with the URL Wizard, for these search engines you will have to add them manually; see FindingPOSTQueries for a tutorial.

• Q: What do all the various search engine settings mean?
• A: The settings are derived from the search.ini file that OpSED edits. Normally, you won't need to change very many of them. But to learn more, read SearchINIEditing tuorial for more information.
